This place is a hidden gem.. AYCE K-bbq place but they have sushi rolls, handrolls and nabe(soup). Meat quality is good and marinated meat is not too sweet, not too salty. I love marinated meat(korean style) And also they have grilled shishito peppers. Sssooo good! Servers are very friendly and nice. Great service. I def visit again
So I'm very happy to have tried this KBbq joint. I really enjoy eating here now as far as meat quality I will say that I have had better but for the price you cannot beat it. I really love the service you get here. There's some special things I would recommend that do stand out if you eat here.. Here's a list of what to order 1. Order the garlic butter and the ribeye and or brisket. Dip your meats in this yummy goodness 2.garlic jalapeno beef belly, pork belly, short ribs 3.steamed egg/ I like to eat the steamed egg with rice and a bite of meat (dipped in a sauce of course) Try all the sauces sesame oil and salt, soy bean paste, house sauce is bomb too. Dip your meats and try them out it's super fun experiencing it ..have some fun with your food while cooking it. I can't wait until I come back acai
This restaurant is a great value! Great food and great service all at a great price! For less than $40, you get an all you can eat meat buffet! If you order premium, you are limited to ordering one dish of each premium meat (which I dare you to try eating even one of each of the premium meats because you likely won't be able to finish unless you're Kobayashi). On top of that, you have side dishes you can order to compliment how you eat the bbq. My favorite is making a little lettuce burrito that starts with lettuce, adding a little samjang, rice, raw garlic, then the meats. So good! In addition, the service is fast. Expect things to come out right after you order it! The ambiance is clean and tidy. Overall, this is a great option and you will be happy with how far your $ goes here!
Have tried this kbbq twice, first time was a great experience. Food and service was both great. The second time the food was still good but service was a little lagging because the lady helping us didnt prepare banchan and asked us how the food was when we only had meat on the table. She didnt seem to really care and was slow to come back for refill. Other than that, I wont check this place off because the food was still good. One bad staff doesnt make the rest bad, the rest of the staff was actually nice and attentive.
We ended up only waiting about 16 minutes for a table on Saturday evening for 6 of us. Service was pretty quick and friendly, music was bumpin', and the whole atmosphere was fun! We ordered an absurd amount of meats, sushi, and appetizers for 6 of us and all of it was so delicious. The price was great for the amount of food we had and to not have to wait hours for I'm sure the same quality elsewhere, we'll definitely be back!
as an avid KBBQ enjoyer from SoCal, i gotta check out any recommendations even out of state. Todays visit to hwaro was a great experience for near the strip asian food at a solid price for quality. Food - (7/10) Ordered the lunch special at $26 a person, which for everything it included was already a stellar price. In terms of delivery, I didn't care much for the banchan or raw fish options as nothing stood out or had flavor worth devouring. The corn cheese, bulgogi fries and KFC were solid (just wish the KFC was crunchier) and sauce options were standard (the hwaro sauce is a hit!). Most importantly, the meat was great aside from some overly chewy beef tongue. Great flavor from the toro, brisket, and especially the pineapple steak. Small ice creams of unique flavors are included, and DELICIOUS! Service (9/10) only 2 staff members on the whole floor this afternoon but they were quick with refills, getting food out, and any extras we needed. Just missed a few items we had to reorder, no issue. Ambiance (9/10) Modern, new look with upbeat trendy music (loudly) fills the restaurant and crafts an enjoyable eating experience. Always bonus points for BBQ spots that actually have good ventilation, like here. Still a bit hot inside the dining area, but it's a BBQ place in the desert can't be too bothered.
Hwaro is an AYCE KBBQ in Las Vegas. The meats started out delicious for the Premium and then as the night went on the meat just started to lower in quality. Would definitely just multiple order the top 4 meats. The Galbi was too fatty for me. The sides and cooked food were tasty. Do not sleep on the Hwaro sauce and potstickers. Well fed and happy.
Returned here for the first time long after their closing and wow it has changed! The inside and menu have both been renewed! Unfortunately, I came in here thinking the menu would be the same as hwaro 2, but it is slightly different. On the menu, they now offer premium meats as well as sushi. The sushi was delicious and fresh! My favorite was the tiger roll. As for the meats I got the classic brisket and the skirt steak, which are my favorites. The bulogi fries and KFC were my favorite app I did try their new cocktails as well they are on the sweeter side! But very refreshing. Over all still has the taste for hwaro but the og and hwaro 2 will win me over. Cris was our server very attentive and switched the grill every-time it was needed!
Hwaro has AYCE during lunch and dinner with a variety of appetizer and sushi options. I went during lunch so I had the option to choose from the lunch or the more premium menu option, I opted for the lunch menu. The brisket, beef belly and sliced pork belly were my fave! I like the spicy marinated beef steak as it was tender and flavorful, the ribeye bulgogi was tasty as well. I'm not a fan of the beef tongue unfortunately, I usually love beef tongue but it was really chewy and tough. If you like more meat options, I highly recommend checking out the premium menu! Lots more variety and the quality is better in my opinion. Service was amazing from start to finish, attentive and friendly. The place was clean and modern!
